A genuine UK 1st issue copy of ‘Beatles For Sale’ which has only been played twice!
Comes in its original 1st issue dark gatefold sleeve dating to the original release date of 4th December 1964 release date.
Not only is this a stunning looking disc but it is a true audiophile copy which captures all the detail and clarity of one of their most acoustic albums.

Visual: nr MINT
A beautiful looking disc which has only been played twice since new. The disc still retains its original shop freshness and rainbow sheen. There are no visible marks in the strong daylight even under an intense halogen desklight nothing is revealed other than the faintest of sleeve removal marks. The heavy duty vinyl lies 100% flat on the turntable.
Labels: Side 1 EXCELLENT- Side 2 nr MINT
The label to side one has some storage marks due to long term storage but other than this it looks fresh. Side 2 looks shop fresh and has two faint spindle trails. Both labels have ‘Parlophone’ rim text, ‘sold in UK…’ and 'Recording First Published...' positively dating it to 1964. Side two carries the KT tax code.
Audio: nr MINT
An outstanding sounding audiophile copy. Breathtaking analogue sound, undistorted and very difficult to fault. All the acoustic tracks are breathtakingly clear and rich. A tiny amount of static in some gaps but this is to be expected with a record that has been stored away for half a century A true audiophile copy which will not disappoint. There are no pops and ticks. Needless to say the record does not jump or stick.
Cover
EXCELLENT
An excellent example of this genuine 1964 1st issue UK sleeve with the heavier and darker image. These very flimsy gatefold sleeves are tough to find in anything above VG condition. The cover still retains it high gloss laminate sheen, there is one thumbnail to the front cover but overall very little to fault. The spine is square and uncrushed.
