Description

This is a 7" vinyl single by The Country Hams; "Walking In The Park With Eloise". Paul McCartney in diguise teamed with Nashville legends Chet Atkins and Floyd Cramer playing an instrumental written by Paul's Dad. Released on EMI instead of Parlophone or Apple in 1974.

  • Walking In The Park With Eloïse, an old instrumental melody which was composed by Paul's father, Jim McCartney, and recorded by Paul in Nashville in June and July 1974. Paul had been joined by Chet Atkins for the studio sessions and the resulting single was released under the pseudonym of the Country Hams in October 1974. It's a nice tune with a jazzy style from the fourties.

  • Bridge Over The River Suite, an instrumental composed by Paul and Linda, which was recorded in Paris on November 1973, and released as the B-side of Walking In The Park With Eloïse.

 

You can see from the photo that the sleeve is in excellent condition but does have a small stamp of an 'S' in a circle, visible in the photo, (it was there when I bought it),  the single itself is near mint; played only once or twice to be recorded.
