Description

BEATLES, 10" (1 sided) metal Emidisc (UK) ACETATE (rare) 78rpm with the song "Money" (That's What I Want). The Beatles recorded "Money" in 7 takes in July of 1963. A series of piano overdubs was later added by producer George Martin. The song was released in Nov., 1963 as the final track of their second UK album "With The Beatles". The time on the lp released song was 2:47 and the time on the acetate is 2:38.  Hand written on the green label is The Beatles "Money" (Track 3, piano) and has the vocals and piano with no drums or guitar. This version sounds a little rough when compared to the released version especially the very end of the song when Pauls' vocals die of and sounds a little flat. The record is in VG++ (shinny) condition but has a skip in the beginning vocals. Further cleaning might help this problem... This is Beatles history available to you on an unbelievable 78 rpm super early version. Don't miss out on this one. NOTE***  Much to my surprise, my (secret) British friend and supplier has returned from his wharehouse with about a dozen more acetates that he assures me are the very last of his collection...   The sound quality is VERY CLEAR and loud...  This version has shorter times from the original Parlophone version in August 1963 .. .. ..These acetates  are NOT FAKES OR REPRODUCTIONS. Priority postage in US is $9.00  and Europe is $30.00 (includes registered mail with new postal rates)...Good Luck !
