The example that we are offering here is in HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE condition throughout, and the album set is ORIGINAL and 100% COMPLETE.

The TWO ORIGINAL First Issue MONO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all with ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale’ and ‘Mfd in UK’ label text, with ‘Apple Records’ label rim, and without ‘An E.M.I. recording’ reference to all four labels.

ALL Four Record labels are in STUNNING near mint condition, CLEAN, UNWORN record labels, UNFADED printed text, with no more than just a few very light spider trails around the centre spindle holes – these are not visible head on - only when tilting the labels around in certain light, and minimal wear around the centre spindle holes.

Record 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Record 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.

Record 1, Side 1 stampers: 5/HL & Side 2: 3/HH.
Record 2, Side 3 stampers: 1/RR & Side 4: 2/LR.

All four sides of the TWO Vinyl Discs are in STRONG excellent condition, BRIGHT, GLOSSY, UNWORN Vinyl surfaces, with some light, NON SOUNDING, surface scratches, but certainly NO deep scuffs or deep scratches.

Audio Quality:

BOTH discs play EXTREMELY WELL through ALL the tracks, with NO skips, clicks or distortion, A POWERFUL MONO Sound.

The TWO Vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags which are in RESPECTABLE very good plus condition, free from seam splits, showing a couple of tears to the die cut centres, and some light tearing to the top of one of the black inners.

….And are housed in their ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED, FIRST ISSUE, TOP OPENING, Garrod and Lofthouse MONO GATEFOLD Sleeve, bearing the EXTREMELY LOW NUMBER of just 0002283, clearly printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. The wording ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing.

The Low Numbered Original FIRST ISSUE sleeve is a CLEAN, FIRM, IMPRESSIVE example in overall excellent condition. The printed number, 0002283, is VERY CLEAR and UNFADED. The inernal gatefold flipbacks are UNDAMAGED. All that is visible is light record indentation to the Front and back Panel of the Extremely GLOSSY Fully Laminated sleeve. BOTH TOP opening edges (where the records are inserted) are FLAT. There is light yellowing and minimal laminate flaking to the Spine Edge and mild corner bruising to all four corners – nothing serious. The printed spine wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ clearly readable. On the right hand side edge of the gatefold sleeve there are two approximately 1" (2 cms) ‘rub’ marks that have worn through showing the cardboard of the sleeve (see relevant scan). Overall this is a VERY RESPECTABLE example.

There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle.measuring 8" x 11.25" (20.5 cms x 28.5 cms), and ALL four are in GORGEOUS, UNDAMAGED near mint condition. NO pin holes, NO tearing,, NO sellotape marks and NO handwriting.

And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse in FINE near mint condition, NO seam splits or tearing to any of the folds and NO handwriting.

By far the LOWEST NUMBERED Mono White album that we have offered on ebay in a long long while. Interest in ORIGINAL, IMPRESSIVE and COMPLETE examples of the ICONIC Beatles UK WHITE ALBUM release will continue to RISE - especially relevant to LOW NUMBERED versions - thereby increasing the longer term INVESTMENT POTENTIAL. An all round IMPRESSIVE example of one of the most INFLUENTIAL albums of the 20th Century.
