READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

I recently took in a large collection of Beatles albums, which range in condition from a nice VG to EX.  They feature labels from first pressing Capitol to Apple through to the purple Capitol label.  I tossed out all the garbage, and will be selling these copies interspersed with my regular inventory for anyone who would like to have great play-copies, but who generally can’t afford the rarer variations for sale.

The vinyl is collectable on these, although the covers may be a bit dirty, and/or split.  Here’s one that’s a great, solid play copy as well as a keeper.

Beatles 1975 White Album 2nd RAREST “All Rights Reserved” Variation, VG+!

Possibly the rarest complete set.

Collectors know that the scrolling “All Rights” variation was a woefully incomplete run, with the majority of known copies having the second of the two LP’s on the orange Capitol label.  There’s only been one known copy that has both LP’s with the scrolling “All Rights” variation.

Similarly this “All Rights” variation out of Jacksonville has the disclaimer on two lines at the bottoms of the label, as opposed to Los Angeles’ labels with the disclaimer at the tops under the stems.  This Jacksonville run had two variations.  Most copies are found with the disclaimer at the bottoms of just the whole Apple sides, and is missing on the sliced side.  But a lesser-seen variation has the disclaimer on all four sides, and all at the bottoms of all four labels.

This is one of those.

Vinyl--- EX/EX.  VG/VG.  Album one looks great.  Not NM, but very close.  Album two is a strong VG+.  Both sides have very light scratches only, but none of which can be felt.

Plates--- J55/J50. J52/J49.  Letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.

Cover--- VG+.  Very late 1975 cover with “The Beatles” in grey letters.  This same cover was issued with the orange Capitol label a few months later, with the exception of the “Apple Records, Inc.” copyright disclaimer on the inside bottom left panel of the gatefold changed to “Capitol Records, Inc.”

Full glossy cover.  A couple of very small stains.  Small price sticker on back cover, upper left.  Top and bottom corners of the mouth have tiny splits, but NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Gatefold--- VG+.  Minimal foxing across the top, full gloss.  NO CENTER SPLIT SEAM.

Photos- All four photos are present and in VG+ condition.  Paul and Ringo have just one or two light finger divots.  John and George each have a very light crease.

Poster--- VG+.  About the same condition as the photos.  Full gloss, NO SPLITS.

Labels--- EX/EX.  EX/EX.  Beautiful gorgeous set of these rare labels.  One or maybe two light spindle marks each.

Apple Inner Sleeves--- VG+. Generic white inner sleeves with die-cut hole for the labels to show are present.  One sleeve has yellowed more than the other, but there are NO SPLIT SEAMS BETWEEN THEM.

Generic inner sleeves will be provided, so as not to damage your original Apple inner sleeves en route.

RIAA: N/A

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
