Description
Beatles - Ultra Rare 1st pressing of Please Please Me on the Yellow & Black label
This pressing is Very Rare as it was pressed for only a few weeks.
Features:
1. PCM 1202 – 1st yellow & black pressing i.e. the 3rd pressing after the 2 Black & Gold pressings
2. Matrix numbers XEX 421-1 (Side 1) & XEX 422-1 (Side 2).
3. Yellow & Black labels in very good condition. They have the 'The Parlohone Co Ltd...' rims but not ‘Sold in the UK’ nor ‘First published’ texts - exactly as they should be for a genuine 3rd pressing.
4. Tax Code embossed ‘MT’ on Side 1.
5. Low stamper codes = 2/AA on Side 1 & 1/AM on Side 2
6. Large Mono Front Cover
7. Original E.J.Day flip back Laminated Cover – has some whitener on the rear cover where previous owner’s name has been whited over.
8. Polylined inner sleeve is very good – has previous owner’s name.
9. The LP itself is a thick vinyl pressing in good+ condition that retains its gloss.

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
