In this auction are 2 Original Beatles Picture Sleeves with 2 Original Beatles Capitol 45 RPM records.

Picture Sleeve/Record #1:

This is Capitol Records 5964.

This record was released July 17, 1967.

This PICTURE SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT- (MINUS) CONDITION. There are some very light signs of handling at the top of the sleeve at the opening and a couple of very light corner folds (not creases).There is an original price sticker that wraps around at the top opening that was applied by some record shop owner as a way to keep the record from sliding out when being handled by a customer. (I suppose it could be removed, but will leave that to the new owner.) The sleeve is quite FLAT and there are NO seam splits, NO tears, NO writing, and NO ring wear on this sleeve.

This is a straight-cut (East Coast) Sleeve.

The VINYL RECORD included is NEAR MINT.

The vinyl was pressed at Capitol’s Scranton Plant, so this is the correct vinyl for this East Coast picture sleeve.

Personally, I’ve always liked this Beatles’ Picture Sleeve a lot, because it used the head shots of the boys from inside the gate-fold cover of the “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” LP.

This record was released August 14, 1978.

The PICTURE SLEEVE CONDITION is NEAR MINT with a couple of light folds at the top opening. The SLEEVE is quite FLAT. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, NO TEARS, NO FOLDS and NO RING WEAR.

This picture sleeve has the cover of the “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” LP on both sides.

There is no distinction in the cut of the top of the sleeve. They were all cut the same.

The VINYL is NEAR MINT.
