In October 2003, Toshiba/EMI announced they would be releasing a Beatles catalogue; the entirety of which I listed below. I purchased this set upon release in December 2003. This auction is for the first 4 UK releases in mono. In the coming weeks I will probably be offering the remainder of the catalogue once this is sold. I purchased the entire set as a unit, this was effectively a "box set without the box." If you'd like to research the set, there's a wealth of information on the Steve Hoffman Forum, a post from which I included below. As is the case with any Beatles reissues, there are the proponents & naysayers that argue ad nauseam as to which are the best pressings. Then again, if you're here looking at this, you probably know well what you're looking at. I have added the proper Discogs listings below, which include all the album identifiers including UPC's and deadwax info.
The albums are as I purchased them, still in their original outer plastic sleeves, and placed into a 2nd sleeve to preclude any shelf wear. Vinyl, jackets, OBI's, inserts are in perfect condition. I will also certify that these 4 LP's have never seen a turntable. Albums will be shipped in a heavy duty box designed for the purchase. Please send a note upon payment indicating if you'd like the vinyl shipped outside the jacket.
