Beatles 45 Extinct Ticket to Ride Dome Label, 1969

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Collectors know that you’re not going to see one of these for a few more decades, and that’s in dog years.  The Dome label was only in the shops in May and June only, back in 1969.  The label variation was changed that quickly!

Sleeve:  Original Capitol Dome sleeve is present and in really good condition.  Has yellowed over the decades, but there are NO SPLITS.  This sleeve is designated as a Dome sleeve by the absence of the Capitol Target logo that was added just a few scant months later, when this label variation was phased out.  A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.

Vinyl: Squarely VG. And VG does not mean dragged along a brick wall. It means that the surfaces, under a bright bulb, are covered in fine angel hair scratches, a light scuff or two, but with a very good amount of original shine still staring back at you.  It will play with surface noise, but not skip.

Labels: NM/ VG+.  Side 2 label looks as good as Side 1, with the exception of some dirt and wear-off just under “Yes It Is.”  See photo.

Plates: G2/ F1.  Scranton pressing with the machine-stamped triangle, and the “IAM” lettering inside it.

Listen, if you really don’t know what to get your Beatles collector for Christmas, get them one of these for sale in the next few weeks.  They’re never going to find one on their own, and they will wonder where the heck you found one!

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
