Beatles 45 Nowhere Man Scranton 1968 Subsidiary of…Weird-Size Label, EX!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

(Please Note:  Thank you to all who purchased a copy of my book on flash drive this Christmas Season, and for the marvelous feedback on its contents!

This flash drive will be retired for the season at the end of the month, so if you’re still one of the Watchers, please buy yours now.  Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until next year.  Best for a Happy New Year to us all.)

The entire week was dark and snowy here, which results in dark and grainy photos.  Sorry about that!

As collectors know, this “Subsidiary of…” run had smaller labels than the first pressings did.  This copy has slightly smaller labels than the usual “Subsidiary of…” run had.  The labels fit inside the label platform so that there’s even more of the black vinyl surrounding it.

There is also MUCH darker ink, and no space between the titles and songwriting credits below them.  See compere photo with the “Paperback Writer” single, also for sale this week.

Vinyl: EX/EX.  Both sides have a generous amount of mirror-like shine.  Side 1 has one or two extremely light lines, while Side 2 has a long, perfectly straight one.  I don’t know if it’s a manufacturer’s defect or not.  See brightened photo.

Plates: F3/G4.  Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside it makes this copy pressed by Scranton.

Labels: NM/NM.  Labels look 1968-brand new.

Sleeve: NM.  Original Capitol company sleeve is present.  Looks just like it did in the record bin in 1968.  I can’t see ANY yellowing at all.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

**Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

Check out my other auctions for more hard-to-find vinyl!

Shipping is $5.38 for Media Mail for up to 3 single or double albums, excluding boxed sets within the U.S.  $5.38 covers shipping for up to 5 singles within the U.S., and within the same auction week.

Winners in all other countries will be charged actual shipping to their locations, so please wait to be invoiced.  You will be quoted for the cheapest shipping to your country that the US post office can afford me.  Please let me know if you would prefer to pay for a faster means of shipping, but do NOT ask me to declare packages as gifts, or any other means of defrauding the postal services.  Much appreciated.

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays.  This means that immediate payments will be shipped out the following morning, and later payments must wait until the first available Monday or Thursday after payment is received.  Please pay within 7 days of the auction ending.  I do leave negative feedback for non-payers.

Money back guarantee if you're not happy with your purchase.
