Beatles 45 Please Please Me 1964 Vee Jay Black with Silver Bars, NM!

I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

Finding any Vee Jay record on eBay is pretty easy.  Finding some poor soul who thinks they’re going to get a hundred bucks for their copy that looks like it was piled under toys at the bottom of the toy chest for 40 years and won’t play is even easier.

But finding a copy that looks dangerously close to how it looked in the record bin at the department store in 1964?  Don’t get me started…

Vinyl: NM/EX.  Side 1 shines 100% brand new.  Side 2 has just one tiny, very light, short hairline at the lip.  A stunner.

Plates: “Audio Matrix” stamp appears deeply and legibly on each side.  Definitely a genuine pressing.

Labels: EX/EX.  Minimal wear.  Deep black with silver bars and print.

By far, most of the time you see this title, it will be on one of the colorband labels.  This one, while somewhat easy to find in comparison to the white, yellow or purple labels falls into the median range of rare.

Sleeve: VG.  Sleeve has a lot of wrinkles, and two tears on the front side, but NO SEAM SPLITS.

**If you pass on this copy, you’ll be passing on a keeper that will always beat out any other copy you find from this point forward.  Gorgeous copy.**

**Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.**

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
