READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1964 Beatles ’65 STEREO First Pressing Jacksonville In-House Labels, NM!

Collectors who have bought from me over the years will know that on original copies of Beatles albums, I don’t use the grading “NM” unless the condition calls for it.  There’s always something.

This is one of those circumstances where the condition calls for it.

Vinyl--- NM/NM.  Both sides of the LP look so close to brand new store stock, with two or three tiny lines so small that it isn’t worth mentioning.  So I did anyway.

Plates--- W7/W7.  Letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.

Cover--- EX.  Stunning cover!  Borders on the front cover are snow white.  Both sides have just a hint of record outdent, very light, indeed!  Back cover has very slight dirtwear, and nearly no yellowing, if any.  All seams are muscular-strong, NO SPLITS.

Gorgeous cover.

Labels--- NM/NM.  Both labels look store-stock brand new.

Jacksonville in-house labels use the tiny font that was typeset very close to the spindle hole.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX.  Original burnt orange Capitol sleeve is present.  Looks store-stock brand new, with the exception of a very small tear on the top corner of one side.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: None.  Some first pressing covers on the east coast didn’t have RIAA numbers.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
