READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1970 Beatles ’65 Apple “Mfd. By Apple” on Side 2, Thought Not to Exist, NM!

Collectors know that this label variation is so scarce that for decades, it was thought not to exist.  Beatles titles before 1968 (meaning pre-White Album) had so many reissues in such a concentrated amount of time that it was thought that the catalogue simply wasn’t issued on this very short-lived label variation.

And yet, here’s one.

**This is the copy that is pictured in my books on flash drive, available now.  Be sure to pick up a copy for a lot more label variations, which you’ve never seen before! **

Vinyl--- NM/NM.  Both sides shine, just like they did in 1970, when the shrinkwrap was pulled off.

Plates--- J15/J15.  Pretty early for an Apple reissue.  Hand-etched Delta symbol (or rifle) in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Winchester.

Cover--- EX.  Just a tic away from NM.  Bottom seam has a pinpoint of missing slick, back cover has an ever-so-slight yellowing.  Otherwise, this cover also looks like the shrink has just been pulled off.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.  Not even almost.  Muscular-strong cover.

Labels--- NM/EX.  Side 2 has just one extremely light spindle mark.  Otherwise, these labels look factory-fresh.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- VG+.  Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show is present.  Sleeve is moderately yellowed and wrinkled, but NO SEAM SPLITS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

RIAA: 12

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
