Description
Here is the third of several original american-issued Beatles albums still in the shrinkwrap...The Beatles "Beatles '65" stereo Capitol ST-2228 issued 42-years ago on December 15, 1964. Both the cover and record are in near mint condition. The cover (no pressing plant number) is Spizer-cataloged as CAP 2228.SC1, and has the "This stereo record should be played only with a stereo cartridge and needle to avoid damage" statement at the bottom of the back cover (in general, Capitol stopped putting this statement on covers manufactured after 1967...so true first pressing covers should normally have this statement). There are no seamsplits, tears, etc. The vinyl is a "stunning" true near mint...like a "mirror" on both sides with ZERO spindlemarks. I would venture to say it may not have been played, and is Spizer-cataloged as CAP 2228.SR1A. Again, this record is like new and would not need an upgrade. Both labels are gorgeous. Comes complete with the matching east-coast, crisp, rust-colored inner sleeve that has no splitting or top-tags.
