GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, FIRST ISSUE, COMPLETE, AND A HIGHLY RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE
ORIGINAL 1964 UK Parlophone FIRST ISSUE STEREO Vinyl LP for The Beatles album release, ‘A HARD DAY’S NIGHT’.
The Vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
The record labels are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, BRIGHT, CLEAN labels, showing some light centre spider trails, with no fading to the silver and yellow text
Side 1 matrix: YEX 126-1 and Side 2: YEX 127-1.
Side 1 stampers: 3 HA and Side 2: 1RA.
There is an faint embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code to the centre of the side 1 record label.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in Excellent Plus condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT Vinyl showing a few light, non sounding, surface hairlines, but NO deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays WELL throughout with light background crackle, and a click at the end of track 1, side one.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL ‘Use Emitex’ lined Inner Bag which is a RESPECTABLE example, NO handwriting or seam splits, just light age toning and light creasing.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, printed ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The Laminated sleeve is a decent example, and in excellent minus condition. The front panel is FIRM and GLOSSY, with only mild corner bruising to all four corners. The spine edge is FIRM and the wording perfectly readable. The reverse panel of the sleeve is CLEAN and RESPECTABLE, showing age toning to the gate edge, and the initial R in green felt tip pen on the top of the sleeve, all the three fold over flaps are undamaged..
Overall a VERY CLEAN, HIGHLY RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE example of this ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE STEREO Beatles album.
