The Beatles

“A Hard Days Night” Mono 1st NZ Pressing!

On offer is a New Zealand 1st pressing by HMV NZ for Parlophone. It has the Black-Silver style labels similar to the UK Black-gold.

The disc is pressed by HMV NZ Ltd using stampers cut from the UK Mothers and hence bears the UK Matrix XEX481 + XEX482 in the run outs. The Label bears the UK matrix and the NZ cat# PMCM.1230. Please note the credits/Royalties as per the label scans. The sound quality is excellent with the rich mono sound !

The laminated sleeve has the main title in white (not red like the UK). The rear text is in 4 panels (not 3). The rear sleeve is not laminated and has the 3 tabs/flip backs.

Condition (visual grade):

DISC: VG+ (fine hairlines- paper lines- no deep scratches or scuffs)

SLEEVE: G+ (General wear- corner wear- record store stamp on back cover- some stains and discolouration on the rear sleeve-Spine has light wear but all text is legible and clear-NO splits No Tears)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I use the UK Record Collector grading system. I grade conservatively to avoid disappointment.  I don't use the grading MINT! I rarely ever use the grading Near mint (maybe only for sealed vinyl or unplayed /new discs). My EX+ is often another's NM!

For a detailed description of the UK Record Collector gradings see:  http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/VINYL-RECORD-GRADING-GUIDE?ugid=10000000001916909

1. I always remove the disc from the sleeve when packing.

2. I use recycled packaging.

3. Please make payment within 3 working days.

Postage:

UK/ EU/North America/Japan:

£10 Standard airmail (7-10 working days) + £3 for any additonal LP's.

This is effectively 1st class airmail and does not provide any sort of tracking service. Insurance for loss or damage is included but claims for loss or damage can only be made through NZ Post. Therefore if the above happens it will require your co-operation as NZ Post investigates such claims and does not compensate lightly without doing there homework. You agree not to claim via Paypal until NZ post have finished and concluded their investigation should this arise.

**If you would like a tracked courier service please ask me to get a quote for you!

South American/Italian/ Russian Federation/China :

Please be prepared for long delays of up to 1-2 months for your item. This is to do with the postal service at your end not mine. I have had difficulties with clients in the above areas asking where there item is after 2 weeks. Well it is usually sitting in a depot/warehouse in your country until customs or some bureaucrat processes it. I don’t mean to cause any offence but please understand the only way around this is for you to pay for a courier service which has tracking details and is fast 4-6days. This is expensive (from £22-30) so please ask me if you want this.

Russian Federation: Unfortunately the only service available to Russian Federation clients is standard/1st class airmail- the Russian postal system will not allow for non business-business items to be couriered i.e. they will only deliver to a commercial business address.

Any questions ? Please drop me an email ;)
