Description
The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
(Parlophone PMC 1230 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. This has a mid sized "Mono" on the front & is printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. It comes with its original tracing paper lined "Emitex" company inner sleeve.
The record has yellow & black "Parlophone" labels which have "The Parlophone Co...", "Recording First..." and "Sold in UK..." texts on them. The 1st press matrix numbers are XEX 481-3N and XEX 482-3N matrix stampers. The mother stampers are RGM 5 and GTO 7.
Sleeve: There is some light fading to the rear. There is some considerable crazing, or light indentations, to the laminate on the front sleeve. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom corner tips. VG condition.
Vinyl: There are some moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light, and a few light marks. Good+ condition. The labels are clean & show mild to moderate spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall. There is some light, or very mild, crackle in some quieter places.
The Emitex inner sleeve is in VG+ condition.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
