CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright, unworn pair with some faint blemishes to the paper from the inner-sleeve along with a small number of tiny spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which in strong daylight reveal several very light paper scuffs consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no scratches or any other significant signs of wear. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these minor blemishes and add nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine to this well looked-after disc.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
One of the best sounding of their early stereo LPs, this copy does not disappoint on any level. The sound is warm clean & clear throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion on any track or in either channel. My single careful playcheck at volume detected just a touch of normal low-level vinyl background between tracks, but no clicks, pops, ticks or indeed any other audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A respectable example of this early cover which was made from very brittle card stock and is very difficult to find in anything approaching this condition. The front panel retains a clean, unscratched and unworn high-gloss laminate bearing several light wrinkles and slight toning to the upper white banner. There is light bruising to the corners and slight wear to the front opening edge, but no tears or splits anywhere. The exposed rear panel is overall clean & unblemished and totally free from any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean and unworn.
Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is clean & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a few gentle storage wrinkles & a hint of age-toning, but no writing, tears or seams splits.
