PMC 1230 The first UK pressing of this HUGE Beatles release with very early stampers:

Album sleeve
The very first issue single ,front laminated, tri fold flip back single sleeve in stunning, factory new condition ! Near mint minus visual with little to fault !! How rare can this be !! Most are found grubby, with massive ring wear and rips and tears . NOT this one however and is a diamond amongst the pebbles!! Spine is perfect with a clearly readable title. Ultra clean reverse face which is mega rare and has been carefully stored away with minimal handling! The tri fold flip backs are immaculate with no damage whatsoever. Only fault and I stress that this appears to be a manufacturing error rather than wear and tear where the lower edge seems to show 2 cms. seam rub. The best Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve ever viewed and not to be missed.
Labels
Yellow/Black Parlophone first issue label format with sold in UK text.Only an extremely light spindle trace and hardly played/carefully handled history. Ex++ !
Vinyl
Polished, thick heavy weight pressing which gives a buzz when held. One feelable scratch on one side which incidentally, does little to affect music presentation . Excellent visual with highly polished, glass like surfaces . Only one or two light surface which disappear beneath its staggering sheen.
Audio
Crystal. Only fault is the one scratch which gives a very light tick during playback and does little to affect delivery but you need to know. Otherwise a sensational audio with hardly a crackle or a hiss. At least an excellent delivery for the most part of this beautiful vintage vinyl .
Original Emitex , poly lined , inner sleeve also present. Very good with just a small opening split in both sides only.
A beautiful, rare exhibit and will be hard pressed to find a better example of this first press, Beatles 1964 album release.
