1st UK press 1969 Apple
A beautiful UK 1969 first pressing of The Beatles Abbey Road on UK Apple Records, with “Her Majesty” listed on the Side 2 label, and a properly aligned Apple on the back cover. Very clean all around with just some minor creases to two extreme corners on the cover, and a beautiful and great sounding disc, with a few ultra superficial scuffs visible only under extremely close up, bright light. A true classic.
Stampers are YEX 749-2/ 8TR and YEX 750-1 2PT.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT+
The record which is made out of very thick and heavy wax is in Excellent+ condition if not better!! according to the grading shown above.It is very impressive and has full gloss and shine with no groove wear,in normal light it looks mint- but under very strong light you can see some hairlines but no fingernail scratches.The tracks PLAY MOSTLY MINT!! with a couple having a few light clicks which can only be heard close up to the speakers,it really is fantastic sound.
Cover: EXCELLENT++
The Garrod & lofthouse fully laminated misaligned apple cover is STUNNING!! and must grade A STRONG Excellent if not better!!..there is no tears,stickers or writing and the laminate shines with no cracking.The corner tips on both sides are razor sharp and there is no fethering on the opening.Seams and spine have no wear or splits and the spine text is all clearly readable.FANTASTIC COVER
