EMI Apple Records PCS 7088 Yex 750 Stereo

Notes: Apple trade mark aligned on rear cover. 1st pressing. See sleeve/label pictures for confirmation of this pressing type - matrix numbers and stampers below. Plenty of info on net regarding the 'coding' of the stampers and mothers on this particular pressing.
Accordingly this particular pressing does appear to originate from a 'low' mother number. Please do your own research regarding the numbers below and if unsure, please do not bid.

Please see below for matrix numbers/stampers on this particular pressing.

Side 1 YEX 749-2  PHD (stamper) 3 (mother)
Side 2  YEX 750-1  PLL (stamper) 2 (mother)

Please see photos for track listings.

Record: Very Good ++ Vinyl is in great condition - retains a lovely sheen. One minor scratch visible on side two. Some fine whispy lines are visible on surface when held up to natural light. There is a slight white mark on the label on side one (please refer to pictures).

Sleeve:  Excellent  - slight laminate fold front cover top left and laminate raised slightly on rear cover right hand side. Spine is straight with no issues and clearly defined lettering. Retains the glossy shine from an original Garrod and Lofthouse laminated sleeve. Corners are all sharp with minimal wear. Overall this sleeve is in great condition. Please refer to pictures for details.

Inner Sleeve: White Patent No. 1.125.555.  Made in England. Light wear with small break-through on opposite of sleeve entrance.

Please see pictures as these form part of the description. Test played on a quality turntable with high grade audio-technica stylus.

Test Play: Obviously a record that has been played many times. Pops and clicks are evident in quiet passages but the reproduction is retained on this record - arguably the Beatles finest recording. No jumps, bass is prominent throughout and still a great listen.

Pictures are of actual record.
