This is my new account that I have set up primarily for vinyl records.  I will be listing my fathers rather rare records other the next week so come and grab some rare wax!!

You can bid with absolute confidence as I describe with total honesty with as many pictures as possible.

I know what it is like to get an over graded record turning up 2 weeks late, but that is not the service you will receive here.  I am a true lover of vinyl and this passion will be transferred to the security of your records!!

So enough of that and on to the record in hand!

Here we have a lovely example of an original 1st pressing, from 1969 on the iconic split apple label!

This is the very very earliest press with the misaligned apple on the rear of the sleeve!  This was quickly corrected for all previous pressings. 

Of the early misaligned pressings, this is of the earliest having the greenish tint to the photography!

The 1st press Apple labels also omit the Her Majesty credits to “The End”; again this was quickly withdrawn and corrected.

All this makes for one of the rarest copies of Abbey Road available, being fully complete with 1st press withdrawn sleeve, 1st press withdrawn labels and 1st press black inner!

Sleeve Condition.

The 1st print fully laminated G&L outer sleeve is in really stunning condition!  There are no rips or damage to mention!  The wording on the spine is perfectly readable and is lovely and straight.  All the edges are straight and crisp.  The colours are as vibrant as they were on the day of release.   There is some very light storage wear and very mild ring wear to the rear only!!  It’s a really really nice example that won’t disappoint!

Inner Condition.

The 1st press black die-cut inner is in great condition with no rips, tears, seam splits or writing! Superb!

Label Condition.

The 1st press split Apple labels are in fantastic condition.  There are no rips, writing or stains to mention.  Under a strong light only 1 or 2 invisible spindles can be seen! Stunning and barely played!

Vinyl Visual Condition.

The record looks great! It still retains its wonderful shine and lustre after all these years. There are no deep scratches, warping or dulling at all.  Under a strong light, only a few wispy nearly invisible hairlines can be seen!  It’s that good!  This record has clearly not been overplayed at all!

Vinyl Audio Condition.

The record sounds superb on all frequencies!  It’s a nice punchy and clear audio throughout! There was some slight static on the run in and I heard a couple of clicks at the start of side 2 but other than that it’s a wonderful 1st press listening experience!!  This is how the Beatles should be heard!

So there we have it.  One of the rarest and earliest presses of Abbey Road and in really nice condition!!

I will package the records with extreme care, with hard stiffeners and the vinyl separate to the sleeve and inner, all housed in a Defenda lock tab record box envelope.

Over the next month I will be listing my Fathers record collection.  He was an avid collector who amassed a pretty huge collection that I will be offering all at 99p starts! I shall be listing No Emi Harvests, 1st press Beatles, Pink Islands and loads of other rarities! 

They are mostly in near perfect condition with my dad putting most on tape in the 80’s, then once again onto CD in the 90’s, and since they have been sat unplayed and always in plastic covers! , so stay tuned if you’re interested in some good old rare wax!
