This outstanding example of The Beatles' final studio album is a 1st UK pressing dating from initial September 1969 release.

It is on the dark green Apple Record label: PCS 7088 and omits the 'Her Majesty' title from the side 2 label.


Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1

Stamper codes: 9/RGP & 4/RGA

Vinyl weight: 151g


Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo MISALIGNED beneath the rear side 1 track listing.

Complete with its original 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

A pristine clean & unblemished pair with just a small collection of light spindle trails around each completely unworn centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Spectacular & pristine playing surfaces which are totally unmarked in strong daylight with all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine fully intact. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals only a few harmless wispy hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal and a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this beautiful & well looked-after disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: NEAR MINT

This cherished copy has received minimal careful play on good equipment and the sound throughout is warm, clean & clear. The only distractions during my single play check at volume were a single 'tick' on 'Because' and a few more of the same on the introduction to 'You Never Give Me Your Money'. However, apart from these minor blemishes the entire album plays superbly and represents the best sounding source of this outstanding album.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A superb clean & strong example which retains its high-gloss laminate all-round with the front displaying just two light bends to the lower left corner being the only significant blemishes on this fine cover. All corners are clean, sharp and unbruised and whilst there is a touch of wear to the front opening edges, there are no tears or feathering front or rear. The rear is immaculate and, like the front, completely free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles. Both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean, flat & white with just a few gentle handling wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
