THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
1969 UK *1st PRESSING* PRESSING LP
This excellent 1st pressing is on the standard dark green Apple label: PCS 7088
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' song title.
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo misaligned beneath the rear track-listing.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

An immaculate set with just two faint spindle trails to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are pristine & unmarked upon close inspection in strong daylight with no scuffs, marks or scratches anywhere. Close and careful examination directly beneath halogen light reveals nothing more than a sparkling 'as new' rainbow shine and a few insignificant wispy hairlines on side 2 but little else to fault on this well looked-after copy.
Play: EXCELLENT
This rarely played copy plays without any traces of groove/play wear distortion. My careful play-check at volume uncovered a touch of insignificant background on some quieter passages, a few light clicks at the beginning of 'You Never Give Me Your Money' and three 'pops' at the beginning of 'Golden Slumbers'. However, despite these minor blemishes, this is still a fine sounding disc.

EXCELLENT
This fine, high-gloss exmaple is extremely clean & strong with just some light storagewear to the laminate & a single 'thumbnail' to each. All corners are square and unbumped with no wear to either of the opening edges. Both seams and the spine are fully intact, smooth and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Apart form a few age-related blemishes, this is clean & undamaged inner with just some light handling wear but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
