THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
This wonderful sounding UK 1969 pressing of The Beatles' last recorded studio album is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7088
The 'Her Majesty' credit is missing from the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 4/GHA & 7/GAD
Vinyl weight: 135g
Housed within a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the side 1 track-listing on the rear panel.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

A richly coloured, clean and undamaged set with a small collection of well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine unworn deep-gloss playing surfaces which are free from any significant marks or wear in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveal little more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a healthy sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this extremely well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This superb sounding disc has received minimal careful play on good equipment only and the sound is clean, warm and clear throughout and totally free from any traces of groove/playwear. The only distraction which caught my ear during my single careful play-check at volume were two light clicks at the beginning of the 1st verse of 'Here Comes The Sun'. Apart from that minor blemish, there is absolutely nothing else to fault on this exquisite sounding copy which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example with a sparkling, unworn high-gloss laminate all-round. The front panel has a mild crease towards the opening edge in the upper right area but the rear panel is immaculate and totally unworn. There is a bump to the upper left corner but all other are in excellent shape.
Both seams and the spine are all smooth, unworn and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a hint of toning, but no writing, tears or missing paper.
