Description
THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
1969 UK **MONO** REEL-TO-REEL TAPE
**FULLY TESTED**
This rare reel-to-reel edition of 'Abbey Road' was the only official MONO release of the record in the UK.
It plays both sides at 3 3/4 i.p.s. on a 10cm diameter clear plastic 'EMITAPE' spool: TA-PMC 7088
Both the red and white leader tapes have the catalogue number, 'Made in Gt. Britain & 'PARLOPHONE' symbol printed on them.
The tape is housed in a clear plastic 'jewel' case with printed fold-over colour colour insert.
The spool is clear, clean and undamaged with an unworn paper centre label.
The tape itself is in perfect condition with no creasing, edits, breaks or other signs of wear.
Audio: NEAR MINT
I have played the tape through in its entiretly on a Revox A-77 MkIV player, and am happy to report that and all tracks play perfectly.
There are no drop-outs or any other audible faults.
Insert: EXCELLENT
The insert is clean, uncreased and undamaged showing just a small area of 'pinching' on the right edge of the front fold.
There is no discolouration, marks, writing or missing paper anywhere.
Case: GOOD
Both components are intact and hinged together but have some light scratches & storage wear.
There is a small crack to the front section and two larger ones to the rear. However, this case would be easily replaceable
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
All records are 100% guaranteed. Full refunds given if you are not satisfied
