Description
In this auction are 1 original Beatles Picture Sleeve and 1 original Beatles Capitol orange-yellow swirl label 45 RPM record. Here are the details:
· “ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE” b/w “BABY YOU’RE A RICH MAN” by The Beatles
· This is Capitol 5964.
· This record was released July 17, 1967.
· This PICTURE SLEEVE is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION. Only some very light signs of handling primarily at the top of the sleeve at the opening and 4 tiny staple holes (2 at the top opening on the right and left sides where some record shop owner stapled the sleeve this way to keep the record from sliding out when being handled by a customer) keep me from grading this sleeve Near Mint. There is very light disc impressing (not ring wear), but the sleeve is still VERY FLAT. There are NO seam splits, NO tears, NO writing, and NO ring wear on this sleeve.
· This is a straight-cut (East Coast) Sleeve.
· The VINYL RECORD included is NEAR MINT, and it was pressed at Capitol’s Scranton Plant.
· Personally, I’ve always liked this Beatles’ Picture Sleeve, because it used the head shots of the boys from inside the gate-fold cover of the “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” LP.
A VERY NICE COPY of this Beatles’ Single for someone’s Beatles' or vinyl collection!
