Quite possibly the best album of their brilliant career. Having the ability to meld together extreme sonic experimentation, acid heavy guitars, pure pop melodies, ghostly harmonies, eastern drones and Motown infuences while at the same time creating new studio techniques and still being able to create a cohesive album really is incredible. Lets not talk about Ringo's tone deaf vocal assault on "Yelow Submarine" and focus on the many highlights, the three part harmony on "I Want To Tell You", the guitar solo on "Taxman", Lennon's and Harrison's guitar duel on "And Your Bird Can Sing", the whole of "Tomorrow Never Knows." Utter genius, taking the simple pop formula and creating this! Everyone who likes music should own this.
