Description
For your consideration is an Authentic - Version One (1) - pressing of The Beatles inaugural USA album, Introducing The Beatles.
Released at about the same time as Capitol’s ‘Meet The Beatles’ this version of ‘Introducing’ features two tracks (Love Me Do & P.S. I Love You) that were immediately replaced with Ask Me Why & Please, Please Me for the second and future pressings from Vee Jay making this issue a true version one.
Countless “pirated” - version ones - do exist so for your (and my) piece of mind I’ve included the simplest authentication requirement, a picture of the “Audio Matrix” stamp located in the dead wax area. This area measures under an inch (both sides) from the last groove to the edge of the label, also a requirement for an authentic pressing.
The overall condition of the pictured album you will receive is a solid good using the strictest standards. The vinyl plays fine with some rarely heard background noise and does have some mild surface marks but nothing bad. When running your fingers over the surface nothing can be felt accepted smooth vinyl.
I use very strong lighting to show the vinyl that causes the labels to look discolored so I’ve included true pictures of the labels on their own using normal light.
The cover is in solid good condition also. No bad splits with only a small piece of clear tape found right under where ‘LP 1062’ is printed at the lower - right - front - cover. I ask that you please expand and examine all the photos I’ve included to make your own judgment in regards to condition.
If you’re interested in an authentic - version one - of ‘Introducing The Beatles’ in very acceptable condition at what I feel is a fair price then search no more, here it is.
