THE BEATLES - 'BALLADS'
1980 UK *MINT/UNPLAYED* 1st PRESSING LP
This LP is one of a number I have listed this week which originated from the collection of a record company employee. Like this copy, all were received at/near the time of release and carefully stored away in ideal conditions and never played.
This original MINT/UNPLAYED 1st pressing from September 1980 is on the '2-EMI-box' EMI/Parlophone label: PCS 7214
The disc is housed within an unlaminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover.
Complete with its original '980' (September 1980) EMI printed inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: PCS 7214 B-2 & PCS 7214 A-2
Disc weight: 120g

An immaculate set with no spindle marks to either centre hole.
Visual: MINT
Both surfaces are pristine, unmarked & 'as new' in both strong daylight AND directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

EXCELLENT
A clean and bright example with the only blemish being slight shelfwear bruising to the lower left corner and tiny 1cm stress (not split) to the upper seam.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT +
Clean & white with minor storagewear but no splits, tears or writing.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on an EMT 950 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
