Description
It is with some reluctance that due to pending retirement I will over the next few months be selling my own Beatles collection gathered over a number of years. Most of the items are in Mint - condition but full descriptions will be provided in each listing. Whilst I sold many Beatles records some years ago for which much of my feedback was generated, these items represent the best conditioned items. All come with a full money back guarantee if you feel the item does not represent the description.
This listing is for an original 1964 Stereo copy of Beatles For Sale on the Parlophone label catalogue number PCS 3062. Matrix numbers, side 1, YEX 142-1, side 2, YEX 143-1. Stampers side 1 @ 9 oclock 4, @ 3 oclock R. Side 2, @ 9 oclock 1, @ 3 oclock VO.
The vinyl shines like new on both sides. Side 1 has no scratches, no scuffs or any other surface mark. It gleams like new and plays without fault. Side 2 has no scratches, no scuffs or any other surface mark. It gleams like new and plays without fault. Both labels depict the Parlophone Company rim and are undamaged, bright and clear, an outstanding example. The only reason this isn't graded higher is that the spindle lines show it has had quite a few plays but has been lovingly cared for.
The Emitex inner has a few light creases but no splits or other damage of any kind.
The outer gatefold sleeve is in nice condition with only a few small light creases and a thin scuffline to the front bottom edge (see scan). There is some light brown staining to the inside of the gatefold opening edge as a result of a former smoking owner. The spine is strong and undamaged, pinched top and bottom as should be the case. This is a remarkable item in outstanding condition.
I have been very critical of this item as I will be on all others to ensure full customer satisfaction. I feel the buyer may not be so critical and will be delighted but if not you will find fully as described.
