It is with some reluctance that due to pending retirement I will over the next few months be selling my own Beatles collection gathered over a number of years. Most of the items are in Mint - condition but full descriptions will be provided in each listing. Whilst I sold many Beatles records some years ago for which much of my feedback was generated, these items represent the best conditioned items. All come with a full money back guarantee if you feel the item does not represent the description.
This listing is for an original 1964 Stereo copy of the album Beatles For Sale by The Beatles on the Parlophone label, catalogue number PCS 3062. Matrix numbers, side 1, YEX 142-1, side 2, YEX 143-1. Stampers side 1 @ 9 oclock 4, @ 3 oclock GH. Side 2, @ 9 oclock 1, @ 3 oclock R.
The vinyl shines like new on both sides. Side 1, has no scratches, no scuffs and no other surfaces marks, it shines like new and plays without fault. Side 2, has no scratches, no scuffs and no other surface marks, it shines like new and plays without fault. This really is in exceptional condition. Both labels are completely undamaged and remain bright and clear and both depict the Parlophone Company rim. There is only sign of moderate spindle marks.
The Emitex inner has a few very light creases, no splits or other damage of any kind.
The outer sleeve is in outstanding condition. The spine is strong, white and clearly readable. The outer sleeve retains a nice gloss. The inside of the gatefold cover slight discolouration. This item is in really nice condition. There is the residue of an original shop sticker on the bottom reverse side (see scan).
I have been very critical of this item as I will be on all others to ensure full customer satisfaction. Items in this condition do not come along very often so if you are looking for a quality copy, this is the one for you.
