Description

This is the blue vinyl Beatles Box (15 albums).
It includes the original 13 albums;
The Beatles With the Beatles Beatles for Sale A Hard Days Night Help Rubber Soul Revolver Sgt. Peppers (includes cardboard pull out) The White Album (includes poster) Abbey Road Let It Be Yellow Submarine The Beatles 'Rarities'
and two bonus albums;
The 'Hey Jude' singles compilation Magical Mystery Tour (includes centrefold booklet, detached)
Condition: This is a second-hand item, the albums have been cherished but played often. The album covers are in variable condition, mostly good, some very good but several are showing signs of wear (buffed edges, creases, small stains, indentations and marks). None of them are torn or defaced. I have made a visual inspection of each record (I do not have a record player any more!), with the following results;
Visually most albums have no obvious scratching or marking that might detract from sound quality with the exception of the following observed marks;
The Beatles 'Rarities' - has a long fine scratch across the entire side 1, it looks playable but is likely to give a repeated 'tick' Magical Mystery Tour - has 2 scratches which might effect tracks 1 & 2 on side 1., possibly causing jump, likely to give 'tick'. I recall that when i played this album years ago it was quite crackly on one side but i can't really see why as i inspect it now. Yellow Submarine - has 6 or 7 very fine parallel scratches on side 2 tracks 1-3, unlikely to cause jump, possible tick. Let It Be - has 3 scratches on side 2, one effecting tracks 1 & 2 may cause jump, the other 2 are smaller and lighter but may cause 'tick'
These were the only obvious problems on visual inspection. However without playing the albums I cannot guarantee that you will not discover other small defects, please take this into account when making a bid.
