Description
I am clearing out duplicates from my Beatles and Beatles-Related LP collection, so please check my other auctions for other records that may be of interest to you.
In this auction:
· “RAIN” b/w “PAPERBACK WRITER” by The Beatles
· This is 7-INCH PICTURE DISC.
· The catalog number is Parlophone Records RP 5452.
· This is one record of the set of PICTURE DISCS issued in 1986 on the 20th anniversary of the original release date of the songs.
· The A-side has “Paperback Writer” and depicts the Beatles in the flower garden.
· The B-side has “Rain” and depicts the Beatles’ infamous “Butcher” photo that appeared on the original covers of the U.S. “Yesterday and Today” LP cover that was withdrawn/recalled by Capitol Records and replaced with the “Trunk Cover”.
· This 7-Inch Picture Disc is one of rarest and the toughest to find in the Parlophone set.
· It’s a GREAT RECORD to accompany your Beatles’ Butcher Cover LP (if you have one)!
· This PICTURE DISC is in NEAR MINT CONDITION.
· The clear plastic PVC sleeve is included.
· A REALLY NICE and RARE BEATLES PICTURE DISC for YOUR vinyl collection!!!
