Up for auction is this super rare Beatles Can't Buy Me Love 5150 Capitol issue picture sleeve in excellent condition. This sleeve has no periods whatsoever within the Capitol oval making it an original from 1964. This sleeve and the accompanying 45(45 is not for sale in this auction with this sleeve), were both still in a 45 poly protector from the 60's when I purchased the 45 and companion CBML sleeve! The Can't But Me Love side of the sleeve has a very faint yellow area between the e and s in Beatles and another faint yellow spot next to John's left ear alongwith a minute speck of something that is dried on John's left hand, but these slight imperfections do not detract greatly from the overall vivid and crisp color of this beauty of a sleeve! The flip side of the sleeve is nearly perfect in color and clarity of image. The corners and edges of the sleeve are awesome as is evident in the photos and scans of this rarest of the Capitol issue picture sleeves of the Fab Four. The 45 is in almost unplayed condition with mirror finish, but is not included in this auction. It just goes to show that this sleeve and 45 were not handled very much at all, unlike most Beatles records of the day....fans loved the group and wore out the records and tossed a lot of the sleeves away! This CBML sleeve was very difficult to acquire in 1964 and was only made on the east coast and in very limited quantities! Other sellers on various sites are wanting serious prices for this mega rare sleeve in this condition or worse. Do not miss out on this rare opportunity to obtain the rarest Capitol issue pic sleeve of this legendary British group in really great condition....I would grade this sleeve a conservative VG+ to NM--. Feel free to contact me with any concerns and as always you have 7 days to inspect and return this sleeve in the original condition as sent out by me....if not 100% satisfied with my description in this listing or the condition of this very sought after Beatle collectible! Thanks for stopping by and good luck!
