HISTORY
This is a test pressing of the first pressing of one of the Beatles finest and greatest hits from 1963. 'I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND' went on to become essential listening as Beatlemania grew on both sides of the Atlantic. The record went straight to Number One.
This item is placed right at the beginning of the story. Ahead of each run of studio pressings, Factory Sample stickers are placed and these records are kept back for initial listening and then possibly held internally at EMI Parlophone, or passed to a music insider or radio station. This record is the very first pressing (with Matrix numbers ending in -1N both sides), so this is one of the first EVER copies produced of 'I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND'. Having said that it's still in EXCELLENT / MINT condition as a lot of Factory Sample versions can often be.
This is a rare opportunity to own for yourself a unique piece of Beatles history.

SLEEVE CONDITION
The original Parlophone sleeve that accompanies the disc is in Excellent condition.
LABELS
The labels both sides appear in MINT condition. Under bright light both sides there are small signs of spindle marks. The FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE sticker appears across the Parlophone title on SIDE A. (Note for collectors: The writing around the circle 'THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD.' etc is all in upper case).
