CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A superb clean & unblemished with just a few light spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss finishes. Side 1 is pristine & unmarked in strong daylight, with just a handful of light marks hairlines on side 2 - none of which are deep or feelable. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some more of these wispy paper-type hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal, but no additional marks or wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing with no signs fo any dishing or warping.

Play: NEAR MINT

This outstanding sounding copy has received just a very few careful plays on excellent equipment and my careful play check at volume found the sound to be warm, clean & clear throughout with no groove/play wear distortion on any track or in either channel. Both run-ins and all bands play without any significant interference and there are no clicks, pops or ticks there or anywhere on this impressive sounding copy which will not disappoint the keenest audiophile.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A clean, strong & fully intact example of this easily damaged cover where the delicate front leaf is clean, glossy & flat with just a single'thumbnail' wrinkle (on Paul's face), but no other creasing to any part. There are a few flacks or missing paper to the upper edge but otherwise all of the exposed edges are undamaged. The rear panel is equally clean & glossy with the only sign of wear being a light crease in the laminate towards the lower left corner but no ring wear is present anywhere. Inside is immaculate with no rubbing, marks, writing or missing paper anywhere. and no damage to the upper or lower ends of the fragile centre hinge. All seams of the rear pocket are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and whilst the spine is a little rounded it is clean, fully worded & undamaged.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT +

Clean, flat & white with just a few minor storage creases but no no writing, tears or seam splits.
