THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This 1st-class UK 1st mono pressing dates from initial December 1964 release on the yellow & black Parlophone labels: PMC 1240
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims & a 'KT' purchase tax code in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 503-4N & XEX 504-4N
Stamper codes: 3,6/GMH & 2,6/TH
Vinyl weight: 158g
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold cover together with its original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex'..' inner-sleeve

Labels: EXCELLENT +
A clean & unworn set with just a small handful of barely visible spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Exceptionally clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear no noticeable surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp fails to reveals anything more than some some harmless wispy paper hairlines on side 2 from the inner-sleeve.
Sound Quality: 1. EXCELLENT + 2. EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy has clearly received very little play. In fact, apart from some light playwear on the last 2 tracks on side 2, it is flawless. My play-check found no clicks, ticks or any other audible distraction or wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A highly respectable example of this extremely fragile cover with a glossy, front leaf where the only significant sign of wear is a light 6cm wrinkle along the lower edge. The rear panel is just as glossy with just a touch of storage rubbing but no creasing or, ring-wear/disc impression.
All corners are unbumped and both edges of the spine are unsplit and unworn.
The inside of the gatefold is totally unworn and remains clean & black where it should be with no yellowing to either panel or any writing or missing paper.
The spine is uncrushed, clean & perfectly worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with light storgaewear but no writing, tears or seam splits.
