VERY EARLY if not 1ST PRESSING mono UK album by The Beatles titled "Beatles For Sale". 1964 Parlophone – PMC 1240. Mono, Gatefold cover, "Sans-Serif" variant: Black & yellow Parlophone label with sans-serif typesetting, perimeter rim copyright text beginning, 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD...', and the text 'RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964' above the side indicator numeral. There are a number of variants involving the presence or lack of periods after the NCB credit following two of the songs. This is yet another version but this has no embossed tax code on side 1 or side 2 and the runouts are different. This release has Sold in UK line ending with the S above the 0 on Side 1. Sold in UK line ending with the S above the 4 on Side 2. This release has the period after NCB for B5 and B6 and has no embossed tax codes. Matrix Side A: XEX 503-4N R P R I.
