1968 UK 2nd *STEREO* PRESSING LP
On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims
There is no tax/price code is visible in the centre of either label.
Housed in a front laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 1,6/PA & 1,6/OP
Disc weight: 145g

Labels: EXCELLENT +
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both sides are extremely bright, clean & glossy with just a few very faint inner-sleeve removal lines in strong daylight but certainly no scuffs or scratches anywhere. Close & careful inspection directly under my halogen desk lamp reveals just a sparkling rainbow shine and a few wispy paper hairlines but no other signficant or major signs of wear.
Play: EXCELLENT +
A wonderful warm & clear sounding copy which has clearly been barely played. All tracks play without any traces of groovewear distortion or background noise to any part. A real treat.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A really superb example of this fragile, easily damaged cover. The front leaf is perfectly flat and uncreased with razor-sharp, unworn edges. Apart form a minor bump to the lower left corner, all corners are clean & square front & rear. The rear panel is as unworn as the front with just a few lower edge wrinkles but no other creasing or any ring-wear. Inside is immaculate and 'as new' with no tears or wear to the centre hinge. The spine is clean & undamaged and all seams are strong, unstressed & unsplit. Hard to find a better example.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & crisp with just some general light storage creasing but no tears, writing or splits.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
