1969 UK *STEREO* PRESSING LP
In the past later pressings of UK Beatles LPs have been unfairly judged as being inferior to 1st pressings.
However close attention to detail, and more importantly, sound quality shows that they sound as good as or in some cases, a little better than their overplayed, more expensive 1st pressing counterparts.
This particular disc was pressed in the UK in late 1969 on high quality vinyl and with the same original 'tube-cut' mixes/masters as 1st pressings. It boasts outstanding sound quality which later solid-state cuts never matched.
If you value sound quality and want to enjoy tube-cut UK Beatles discs at a fraction of the price of the originals, look no further. You will not be disappointed.
This superb sounding copy is on the '1-EMI Box' Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels carry 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rim texts.
Housed in a front laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1 (the same as the 1964 1st pressing)

Apart from a small scratch on label 1 both are free from any wear or spindle trails.
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT 2. VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces of this high-quality disc are clean and bright with no significant marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Some superficial wispy surface marks are present on side 2 caused by storage and only really visible under halogen light. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
All tracks play superbly with that essential 'breath of life' missing from the mono and other subsequent re-cuts. My careful play-check found no evidence of groovewear or background noise and apart from a single 'tick' on 'Mr Moonlight', this is as good as this LP will sound.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A super example of this fragile cover. The delicate front leaf is clean, glossy & flat with slight wear to the upper edge but no creasing or 'thumbnails'. There is a bump to the lower right corner but no other damage to the others. The rear panel is undamaged and completely unworn. Inside is clean & black where it should be with no rubbing, marks or writing. The upper and lower parts of the centre hinge have slight wear but there are no tears or splits. All seams are smooth, intact and undamaged.

Clean & crisp with slight paper toning but no split, tears or writing.
