READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.
Beatles George Harrison Wonderwall LP 1968 Apple with Capitol Logo, Side 2, EX!
Of George’s original catalogue in the U.S., this is unquestionably his rarest album. If you don’t own one yet, you should try your level best at this copy. After it, there is nothing but open ocean.
Vinyl--- EX/EX. Both sides present as NM, with the exceptions of one angel hair light wisp per side. Both sides shine 99.9% brand new.
Plates--- B4/B8. Letter “O” in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.
Cover--- EX. Cover is still in the original shrinkwrap. Back cover is printed upside-down. Original Grandway price code sticker is still affixed to the front cover. See photo.
Shrinkwrap has very beautifully preserved the cover, except for a small strip of yellowing down the mouth, which is very light. Top left and bottom left corners have small tears in the shrinkwrap, which allowed for isolated and small areas of foxing. Mouth is razor-sharp, no fraying.
The shrinkwrap has some ringwear/dirtwear very lightly on both sides. But if you pull the shrink away from the cover enough to have a look beneath it, you’ll see clearly that there is no damage done to the cover.
NO SEAM SPLITS.
Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover. One is to the right of the Grandway price code sticker. The other is due south, to the right of the young woman holding the lotus pad all the way at the bottom.
Labels--- NM/EX. Side 1 label looks brand new, freshly-printed. Side 2 label looks the same, except that it has just a few very short and very light spindle marks that you’re going to have to tilt toward a light source to find.
Insert--- VG+. First printing insert has George’s portrait with a very high gloss finish, and the Apple graphic in semi-gloss. Later issues had both sides in semi-gloss.
That said, Side 1 has light to moderate record outdent, moderate amount of finger divots and some fingerprints I don’t dare try to remove.
Inner Sleeve--- VG. 1968 heavy paper stock inner sleeve is present. Has some moderate foxing, some dirtwear, light record outdent and a 2 ½-inch split to one of the side seams.
A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original inner sleeve en route.

**This copy is of archival quality for the LP and the cover. Replace the insert if you wish, but it certainly won’t be necessary. Winner will cherish this copy as I did for the last 40 years, I’m positive.**
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
