1965 UK **STEREO** PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT + RARE LABELS**
This NearMint rare & early 1965 2nd STEREO pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The labels have the rarer 'Roman' typeface with large 'STEREO' logos.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse 'mid-sized' stereo logo cover.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper numbers: 3/OM & 1/RA
Labels: NEAR MINT
Just a single light spindle trail on each label.
The mark at the 10 o' clock position on label 1 is a small crease in the paper & not a scratch.

Both surfaces appear MINT viewed in natural light and bear just some wispy sleev removal paper hairlines viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
This is essentially a pristine 'as new' disc with absolutely no marks, scuffs or scratches to either side.
Thick, quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This disc really has just been played just a few times and there is no crackle or groovewear distortion in either channel or on any track.
Both run-ins & all bands are completely silent and there are no clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
A superb copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Strong & clean 'thick' card example retaining a perfect high-gloss, unscratched laminate with a few light edge wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or other creases.
Slight bruising & minor shelfwear to the lower corners but the opening edges have been hardly touched and have no feathering or tears to either side.
The rear panel is bright, clean & white with no discoloration, marks, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks & the spine are intact, unsplit & undamaged.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
