This UK STEREO pressing of their 1964 film soundtrack album dates from c.1968
It is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3058
1st pressing matrices: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper codes: 3/OL & 2/MA
Vinyl weight: 141g
Housed in a rare front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with an OUTLINE front stereo indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
This clean, little played disc has bright & unworn labels & retains deep gloss playing surfaces bearing just some light wispy paper scuffs and a few harmless light hairlines beneath halogen light.
The sound is clear and warm throughout with no clicks, pops or any other significant audible faults or distraction.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A highly respectable example of this super-rare cover.
The front panel laminate is unworn & glossy bearing just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle with a couple more to the spine.
There is slight shelfwear bruising to the lower corners but no significant signs of wear to either opening edge.
The rear panel is pristine white & totally unblemished.
The spine is clean & readable and both seams are smooth & unstressed.
