The Beatles
Help!
1st Press (Lark Mus.)

Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES'  5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Vinyl:
HEAVYWEIGHT 150g QUALITY
VG.
Lovely clear and deep sound reproduction.
There quite a few light marks to the vinyl but they are superficial as they do not provide much background noise at all-it was un-noticeable during the tracks, just a light and very occasional tiny bit inbetween tracks and even then it was minimal. The most offensive was the start of track 1, side 2, which had a bit of shilling for the 1st third of the song....It certainly didn't ruin the enjoyment I had whilst listening to the record....It shines out with the quality vinyl as they knew how to make 'em back then!
NO SKIPS OR STICKS.
AS FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN.

Labels:
VG.
Lovely and clear... With many light spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light...There looks to have been a tiny amount of touch up in black pen to the labels-but this is only noticeable when angled towards the light and looking for it.
She is a lovely 1st Pressing
Central hole wear as can be seen in the images provided.
"KT" tax code to side 1.
Has the 1st type Sans Serf text.
 Outer text "The Gramophone co.LTD"
DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.

Please see the detailed images provided....Click on them for larger images with more detail.

THE LABEL ALSO HAS THE CREDIT OF "LARK MUS." FOR TRACK 1, SIDE 2, RATHER THAN THE LATER PRINTING: "LARK MUSIC"
ALSO
Track 4, side 1 has the '*' AFTER the "I Need You Title" rather than the later printing, which put it BEFORE the song title.
SHOWING THIS TO BE THE VERY 1ST PRESSING

Cover:
VG.
A SOLID example.
Only a few small crescent of spidering to the laminate, with some little fingers of spidering eminating from the seams.
The back card has only light discolouration as well as a name crossed out and another-please see the detailed images for yourselves.
Some light rubbing & knocking to the corners.
STRONG Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks.
There is a well repaired tear near the opening, which is noi longer a tear, but the evidence of it being one once is still there, as you can see in the images provided.
ALSO HAS THE "PATENTS PENDING" STATEMENT TO THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER.

PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED IMAGES PROVIDED AND READ MY HONEST FEEDBACK FOR TRUE GRADINGS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Inner:
EX.
It is a replacement plain white, two-windowed inner in great condition-just light discolouration from age-but hey, don't we all have that?!
NO WRITING

SHE IS A FIRST PRESSING AND REMAINS A PIECE OF BEATLES HISTORY-PROVIDING A VERY SOLID & CLEAR SOUND REPRODUCTION.
.....HELP!
At the very least she would make an excellent filler for any collection
