1965 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING* LP
This EXCELLENT 1965 UK 1st MONO pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 1 centre hole.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse ' printed mono logo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2
Stamper codes: 4/ATM & 1,6/ALD

Both are clean & bright with just a small collection of clumsy spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surface are extremely clean & glossy and are totally unmarked in strong daylight - no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever. Close & careful inspection directly beneath halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no other significant blemishes or wear. This fine copy lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing, with no traces of dishing or warping either side.
Play: EXCELLENT -
This copy has recieved only a small number of careful plays and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality throughout. My careful play-check at volume detected a little playwear showing itself as light background on a few tracks, as well as slight wear to the peaks on 'Yesterday'. However, there were no clicks, pops, jumps or any other significant audible distraction on or between any of these great tracks.

EXCELLENT
A very clean & strong example which retains a bright, glossy front laminate with a single wrinkle towards the upper right corner, but no 'thumbnails' or any other significant traces of wear. There is a little shelfwear bruising to the lower corners but no heavy bumps to any. The rear opening edges has a touch of wear but no tears or feathering anywherer. The rear panel is clean & bright overall with all flipbacks fully intact & undamaged and no significant blemishes or any writing or missing paper. Both seams are smooth and unstressed & the spine is unworn & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean, crisp & flat with some unavoidable wrinkling form storage but no writing, tears or seam splits.
