Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A superb unworn set with just a small handful of tiny, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are clean and bright and display little more than some harmless inner-sleeve removal/storage marks in strong daylight, but nothing I would call a scratch. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these minor blemishes and add no further significant blemishes or wear. Both sides of this high-quality, heavy disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT

This highly respectable sounding copy has received minimal careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality or any major faults. My single careful play-check detected a touch of wear on 'Ticket to Ride' but apart form that, there is little else to spoil the enjoyment of this classic mono mix which is also free from any clicks, pops, ticks or other such distractions.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A tough cover to find in anything approaching this condition, but due to the fact that  this example has been carefully stored in a clean, non-smoking environment these past 47 years, it retains a superb 'whiteness' throughout. The striking front panel is perfectly clean with an unscratched high-gloss laminate where the only sign of wear are two faint 'thumbnail' wrinkles. There is a small shelfwear bruise to the lower left corner visible from the rear, but all others and both opening edges are otherwise unworn & undamaged.

The easily blemished rear panel is factory-fresh with no blemishes or wear or any kind and all flipbacks are clean, intact and unworn.

Both seams & the totally unbent spine are smooth, unstressed and in perfect condition.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & crisp with some minor age-toning and gentle wrinkles, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
