A genuine, 1965 1st UK pressing with:
*MT Tax Code Anomaly A Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipbackcover. Patents pending
The Parlophone black and yellow logo label with silver text
"The Gramophone Co Ltd" in the radial text and "Sold in the U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists" across label at centre, with "Made in Gt. Britain" at bottom Original "Use Emitex" inner sleeve

*This is stamped with MT - the tax code used briefly between JAN 1st 1963 and JUNE 30th 1963 whereby it should have tax code KT on it for the year is was pressed?. Quite how this occurred remains a complete mystery!
Help! contained the songs from the film on side one of the album with the other side devoted to other new recordings including two covers. Help! also marked the return of George Harrison as a songwriter. George contributed one song to each side of the album.The album cover shows the Beatles with their arms positioned to spell out the word HELP in flag semaphore but according to the cover photographer Robert Freeman, those letters didn't look good. So they decided to improvise and ended up with the best graphic positioning.
This is a genuine one owner, first pressed 6th August 1965 vinyl in excellent+ condition for it's 53 years of age - a non audible mark on side 1. It plays through with no jumps or skips, lies flat on the turntable and has minimal spindle wear.
The cover has a clean, shiny front laminate free from any tears, splits, writing, or stickers and it's inner sleeve is intact.
