Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES' 5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Matrix Number Side 1: YEX 168-1
Matrix Number Side 2: YEX 169-1
Mothers/Stampers Side 1: AM @ 3 O'clock 3 at 9 O'clock
Mothers/Stampers Side 2: MG @ 3 O'clock 3 at 9 O'clock
Vinyl: VG-. I grade this as such due to some needle marks and visible scuffing. After playing her all the way through, I found a few small skips to tracks 1 and 2 on side 1, as well just light crackles every now and then...
Labels: VG. Lovely and clear-more so to side 2 as side 1 has some discolouration to the Parlophone lettering. Some spindle marks but only visible under bright light. "KT" tax code lovely and proud to side 2. Outer text

THE SIDE 1 LABEL HAS THE ASTERIX AFTER TRACK 4 LISTING...LATER PRESSINGS HAD THE ASTERIX INFRONT OF THE TRACK LISTING-THIS IS A VERY EARLY PRESSING.
Cover: G+. Still bright to the front laminate and equally bright to the to the back card-Now that is unusual! The down side is the water damage to the cover-Please see the detailed images.

Good strong spine.
Excellently strong Garrod & Lofthouse flipbacks with
"Patents Pending"
Inner: Original "Use Emitex" in VG- condition-light creases, with water damage to one side and small tear to the opening.
Hardly any discolouration.
Overall; A good example of an increasingly rare STEREO, PARLOPHONE version of the HELP! Lp... AND IT IS THE 1st PRESS
