THE "HEY JUDE" U.K. EXPORT PRESSING IS REGARDED AS THE BEST SOUNDING SOURCE FOR ALL TITLES ON THIS LP

 Parlophone began to press and distribute to other countries copies of LP's that were not available, in that form, in the United Kingdom. EMI produced the albums in response to a demand from foreign countries and used a new record number prefix: "CPCS".  "HEY JUDE" was available to other countries as an "export" from England (Parlophone/Apple CPCS-106) but was not at first issued in England, although it was a popular import to the U.K. Because of its popularity worldwide, Parlophone released "Hey Jude" in Britain on 11 May 1979. 

THIS LP IS AN ORIGINAL "EXPORT" PRESSING. IT WAS MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN, PRESSED IN 1970 AND WAS RELEASED NINE YEARS BEFORE ITS OFFICIAL 1979 U.K. DEBUT

VINYL CONDITION

Visual:

SIDE ONE  VG / nice luster and shine. Close and careful inspection directly under a bright light source reveals numerous wispy sleeve removal traces and light hairlines

SIDE TWO  VG /  same visual condition as side one. Nice shine with numerous wispy sleeve removal traces and light hairlines

Audio:

SIDE ONE   EX + / apart from a negligible touch of light and normal background during silent bands there is little to fault. One very soft pop during Can't Buy Me Love and two/three negligible soft pops during I Should Have Known Better

SIDE TWO  VG + / light touch of normal background during silent bands and the last two tracks. The background presence during the last two songs is very light and barely audible...it does not distract in the least.  This sides most exposed track Hey Jude plays perfectly and is without a doubt the best sounding stereo version of this track I've ever heard...as are the other titles on this amazing LP

This LP has obviously been lovingly played...but regardless of its minor imperfections each and every track sounds truely amazing! I guarantee that you have never heard these songs sound better

SIDE ONE   EX+ / beautiful dark green Apple label!! No faults..no blemishes. A nest of spindle traces visible when the LP is held at an angle beneath a bright light source 

SIDE TWO EX+ / again, beautiful label with a light nest of spindle traces visible only at an angle

Sleeve:   EX+ / Truely stunning laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve!! Sleeve is SUPER glossy and clean with very minor handling/shelfwear and very light laminant creases.  Original $2.50 price sticker top right corner.

Inner Sleeve:  Original 'MADE IN ENGLAND' inner sleeve.  White and clean. Very minor handling/storage wear. One small side seam split

 All LP's are very carefully graded. I visually grade each record in daylight and directly under a very strong incandescent lamp. Then all discs are carefully play graded, at volume in their entirety, before each auction. Cartridge used: Shure V15VxMR @ 1.5 grams VTF

All records are shipped inside protective plastic covers. I use professional mailers and two protective stiffeners. When posting, I always separate records from their covers and original inner sleeves (if original inner is present) to prevent seam splits during shipping
